List each task with its location

Give each issue its own line and identify the room, flat or communal area. “Kitchen tap dripping; bedroom door catching; shelf loose in hallway” is easier to review than “general repairs needed”.

If work covers several properties, identify the addresses and tasks separately. Do not assume one booking or price will cover them all. Mark any item that needs its own assessment or specialist trade.

Add photos and practical access details

For each issue, provide a wider view and a useful close-up where safe. State who can arrange access, whether the property is occupied, and any restrictions affecting the visit. Share only the personal information needed to organise the work.

  • Postcode and property type: house, flat or block.
  • A numbered list of faults and their locations.
  • Photos of accessible surfaces and fittings.
  • Existing parts or replacement items you want us to review.
  • Preferred access times and the contact responsible for authorising the work.

Separate urgent issues from a routine job list

Active leaks, electrical hazards and a door that cannot be secured need prompt attention. Contact the appropriate professional and the responsible property contact rather than relying on our normal online response time.

For routine work, explain which jobs are your priority and which can be scheduled later. Multiple tasks may be practical in one visit, but availability, the scope and any required qualifications must be checked first.

Agree the scope before the visit

WMB Fix serves homeowners, landlords and property managers in South Norwood, Croydon and nearby areas. Send the list through one enquiry and select the category that best describes the work, or General maintenance for a mixed list.

We aim to give an initial response within 24 hours to discuss next steps. Confirm who can approve the quote and any additional work. Sending an enquiry does not authorise repairs, confirm a booking or take a payment. Larger refurbishments are quoted separately against the agreed scope.
